Hi guys! My name is Samantha Tedder, and I'm the Senior Digital Marketing Manager for JOLYN. For those of you guys who don't know our brand, we are a woman's competitive swimwear brand. If you have daughters or if you were a swimmer, water polo player, diver in the last like 10 years, you probably have heard of our home brand. I went to the pool deck recently and it felt like I was a rock star over there when I said I worked for JOLYN. It's really quite amazing, The affinity we have with our brand. We like to think of ourselves as an industry disruptor because if you see our suits, they're really bright, colorful, fun, very different than the traditional big guys out on the pool deck. On Jolyn, we are a much smaller business. Our main focus, right now, is North America, and we are a Shopify Plus customer. So we've been really lucky where all of our data has been house in Shopify Plus for the past five years. So, when Emarsys, when we brought Emarsys on for JOLYN, it was so easy that they had a Shopify Plus plug-in. Within a day, we had the plug-in running, we had the code on our site, and, if we were creatively prepared, we probably could have started our IP warm-up that same day. And, just a note about Shopify Plus, and how easy it was to implement: We have one e-commerce operations manager, and one contract developer, the only person that need to touch it was our e-com operations manager. So, we didn't have any developers involved in the implementation or the integration with us, which, in my experience, is unheard of to not have your IT team to put in a ticket to do some integration like this. So, it was super, super easy and seamless. So very happy with that. So the great thing about again, going back to Shopify Plus and being on Shopify with the Emarsys plug-in, is, as simple as that integration was, all of our data was flowing over into Emarsys that day. And, like I said, we could have started sending emails that day. We also could have started segmenting based on the AI technology within Emarsys too. They collected all of this data that we had of our customers for five years and they were already bucketing them into, you know, hot leads, cold leads, defecting customers, lifetime value of customers. So we could instantly start creating these different, different segments. And with the click of a button, for some of these, we could have had a pre-built flow ready for us to start targeting them and creating a 1:1 personalized, personalized journey. So that was really exciting. Now, if we do have your email address, we can do so much more and it's very exciting. This is where the tool gets really fun, is, not only can we show you personalized content with offers or on the product pages, we can also run you through a series of emails. We can push you into Facebook and Google, to target you on Instagram, on Facebook, on Google shopping, normal Google ads, we can send you as a SMS text messages… all of this is done seamlessly in Emarsys. And, like I said, it really is the click of a button that we identify the segment, that has a lot of opportunity, to push the button for a tactic, the flow is prebuilt with all of these different bells and whistles in it, and all we have to do is really just provide the creative. So it's really great. It's a super easy tool to use, and even, like I said, newbies to digital marketing can instantly pick it up right away. So the most important thing I want to say about this technology that Emarsys offers is it really lets marketers be marketers, and actually focus on the strategy, and focus on what I need to do, what going to drive incremental business. It's been such a powerful tool. And so the omnichannel multi-touchpoint dream that only seemed available to big companies and big brands who had a ton of resources, and IT teams, and dev. teams, and creative teams, can now be achievable by a smaller brand too, who only has three people on their team.
